Our First Annual Basketball Tournament Fundraiser!

June 21st, 2008: A day that will go down in history as Feel Good Day's first BIG fundraiser.

Coordinated by a team of feel-gooders led by Drew Miller and Sebastien Gatti, and hosted at the legendary Hampstead Basketball Court, this tournoi was HUGELY successful.

Food and refreshments served all day. Music provided by DJ PG-13. Fun in the sun. Great basketball with great players.... and all for a great cause.

Big Action!

Stride to Succeed, MAB, and FGD

Once a week, with the help of the volunteers from Stride to Succeed, students from the Montreal Association of the Blind embarked on what might seem like an impossible journey--- learning how to skate.
This wonderful program was hugely successful, giving these students the time of their lives. By the last day of this 6 week program, the kids were skating like champs.

To celebrate the completion of the skating workshop, Stride to Succeed invited Feel Good Day to organize a final celebration.

A Gem at J.E.M.

On Wednesday, May 21st, Team Feel Good Day headed to J.E.M., a vocational training center and workshop for mentally and emotionally handicapped Montrealers.

During the workshop's lunch-break, Feel Good Day distributed cupcakes, coffee, and juice, played all sorts of games (bowling, bean-bag toss, and board games), and made get-well cards for kids in the hospital.

Candy, feel good messages, and smiles.... A simple way to make your day...

Good Luck with Exams!

Some Easter Fun...

Late in March, Feel Good Day McGill holds an Easter Bunny Chocolate-O-Thon, handing out candy and Feel Good Messages all over the McGill Campus.....

And for an added touch, the Team gathers a group of kiddos from the McGill daycare and do some arts and crafts..... (but there's no pics of the kids...it's illegal, or something like that)...

What a splendid event!

Welcome to the Club!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Madames et Monsieurs, Senoras y Senores, there's TWO new Feel Good Day clubs in town...

The first is Feel Good Day Dawson!

Started this year by a team of young do-good enthusiasts, the Feel Good Day club at Dawson College has gotten off to a roaring start. They've helped at events at the Shriners and Children's hospitals, have had internal Dawson events, have already secured a killer club space, and are speading the Feel-Good-Vibe all over campus.

You can get in touch with them through their Facebook Group, The Feel Good Club Dawson Chapter.

The second is Feel Good Day Concordia!

While still not officially a student club, this future student organization has the makings of greatness. With a small but strong and gifted core of new University students eager to pitch-in towards making the world a better place, Feel Good Day is sure to take hold at one of Montreal's most visible institutions. Step one, deal with the bureaucratic ins and outs. Step two, make people feel good. Ready......GO!

You can get in touch with them through their Facebook group, Feel Good Day Concordia.

So that's it for now. The student movement is growing, the Feel-Good-Vibes are spreading, and the world is slowly but surely becoming a happier place.

have a GREAT day!

Feel Good Day at the Children's Hospital

Feel Good Day Goes to the Montreal Children's Hospital!

Walking through the door, you're greeted by Big Bird, Winnie the Poo, and other fun characters...

Just before you reach the waiting room, a team of happy and enthusiastic youngsters hand you candy, stickers, and a Feel Good Message telling you how wonderful you are...

As you enter the main hospital area, you wonder what all the commotion is about --- a booth set up with free bagels and free hot chocolate, a table for kids to do arts and crafts, throngs of young people in colorful shirts and happy smiles walking around handing out candy, Feel Good Messages, teddy bears, puzzles, stickers, and other fun stuff.....

Then you see the brochure--- November 13th 2007 is a Feel Good Day at the Montreal Children's Hospital....

Thank you to Feel Good Day McGill, Feel Good Day Dawson, and everyone who participated!

And BIG HUGGS to our wonderful sponsors, who helped make this day happen...
