Feel Good Day with the McGill Alumni Association of New York

On a BEAUTIFUL Spring Saturday, Feel Good Day and the good folks of the McGill Alumni Association of New York spread out through the Lower East Side to make people feel good.

Thank You to ABC Beer Co. -- a fabulous McGill-alum owned bar -- for hosting our rendez-vous, to MAANY for your partnership, and to all the volunteers who joined us.

WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!

Feel Good Day with the Bailey House on Valentine's Day!

On Valentine's Day 2017, the Feel Good Day team headed to the Bailey-Holt House, the nation’s first congregate residence for people living with AIDS.

We hosted a Pizza Party, complete with Ice Cream and a fun Raffle, and enjoyed some great conversation, a live musical performance from two talented musicians-in-residence, and lots of Valentine's Day love.

THANK YOU Bailey House for hosting our FGD team. We can't wait to come back!

Feel Good Day at High School!

The Feel Good Day team heads to the High School for Environmental Studies to make people there Feel Good, and ask them: What Make You Feel Good??

The Original Logo

Farewell Old Feel Good Day Logo!

New Year, New You: It's 2017, and Feel Good Day thought it time to update our look.

But, we are REALLY going to miss our tried and true, original, multi-colored Feel Good Day logo:

This gem of a picture served us well. Thank you Taylor Levy, the original creator of the Feel Good Day logo. You're our hero!

Feel Good Day McGill

Did you know????

Feel Good Day originated at McGill University! It started in 2005 as a single event, then grew into a series of events and productions, then it became an official SSMU student club, and then it became a full-fledged non-profit organization!

2016 Update

Looking forward to hearing from you!

The Marvelous Monday Message

Got two minutes to feel good???

Every Monday, Feel Good Day sends out a fun and inspiring feel-good message to its Facebook group, "Team Feel Good Day".

Here's some examples of previous Marvelous Monday Messages:

March 3rd, 2008:

allrighteee.....

here we go:

What word in the english language rhymes with "orange"???

(I'll give you a clue: it rhymes with...uhh....nevermind, no clue....)

got it??? You sure???

trick question! Nothing in the english language rhymes with "orange"

So if you got that answer, you're a winner.

And you know what, even if you didn't get the answer, you're still a winner, because you're YOU, and YOU are a specially gifted human being, and a winner in the game of life (no matter what you might think rhymes with 'orange').

have a GREAT day!

February 11th, 2008:

Here's a recipe for having a great day...

STEP 1: Smile. Even if you have to force it, even if it's only momentary, even if you're tired and/or in a bad mood, go ahead and smile. That's step one.

STEP 2: Think of your three bestest qualities. Maybe you're a really great dancer; maybe you're a really generous person; maybe you're a Guitar Hero superstar; whatever. Anything about you that makes you stand out in your own mind, think about it.

STEP 3: Got a mirror??? Take a look.... Within that mirror, you'll find a beautiful, unique, smiling, happy person, with a number of fantastic qualities... That person staring back at you is all you need to have a super great day.

There.... Did you follow the three easy steps??? hope so...have a great day.....(but I didn't have to tell you that, did I?)

- feel good

There are plenty more examples just like those... Sometimes they are a bit more risque, sometimes they're more simple, more complex, funnier.... They are all unique in their own way, just like you!

So if you'd like to receive these Marvelous Monday Messages, you can either join the Facebook group, Team Feel Good Day, or if you don't have Facebook, you can receive them by email-- just send your email address to feelgoodday@gmail.com

Have a GREAT day!

Our First Annual Basketball Tournament Fundraiser!

June 21st, 2008: A day that will go down in history as Feel Good Day's first BIG fundraiser.

Coordinated by a team of feel-gooders led by Drew Miller and Sebastien Gatti, and hosted at the legendary Hampstead Basketball Court, this tournoi was HUGELY successful.

Food and refreshments served all day. Music provided by DJ PG-13. Fun in the sun. Great basketball with great players.... and all for a great cause.
