Feel Good Day at the Children's Hospital

Feel Good Day Goes to the Montreal Children's Hospital!

Walking through the door, you're greeted by Big Bird, Winnie the Poo, and other fun characters...




Just before you reach the waiting room, a team of happy and enthusiastic youngsters hand you candy, stickers, and a Feel Good Message telling you how wonderful you are...



As you enter the main hospital area, you wonder what all the commotion is about --- a booth set up with free bagels and free hot chocolate, a table for kids to do arts and crafts, throngs of young people in colorful shirts and happy smiles walking around handing out candy, Feel Good Messages, teddy bears, puzzles, stickers, and other fun stuff.....



Then you see the brochure--- November 13th 2007 is a Feel Good Day at the Montreal Children's Hospital....

Feel Good Day at the Shriners Hospital

Feel Good Day went to the Montreal Shriners Hospital to make people there feel good!

Feel Good Day a HUGE success!

Where did we come from???

Originally, Feel Good Day was an event put on by a McGill University club.

The club was called Liberated Bodies, and their mission was to raise awareness about eating disorders, and promote healthy body image. Feel Good Day - one of the club's first major events - was simply about raising self-esteem.

Today, Feel Good Day may have grown, and the scope of its mission may have expanded, but it is still an organization firmly rooted in the goal to make people feel good about themselves and boost self-esteem.
